Productivity and Efficiency

Productivity and Efficiency

Based on the recorder data (operating time, downtime, alarms etc.) of each device, TracePro calculates the availability of the equipment and issues the corresponding reports and graphs for:

  • Total operating hours of each machine and respectively of each production line and production unit
  • Operating hours of each machine and respective production line and production unit per shift/day/month/year
  • Total downtime of each machine and respectively of each production line and production unit
  • Downtime of each machine and respectively of each production line and production unit per shift/day/month/year

TracePro calculates the efficiency and publishes reports, through the continuous recording of the amount of the finish products which every machine is producing. The published reports also include graphs and show:

  • The total production of each machine and respectively of each production line per shift/day/month/year
  • The average efficiency of each machine and respectively of each production line per shift/day/month/year
  • The actual efficiency (based on the operating hours) of each machine and respectively of each production line per shift/day/month/year

Also, at the display of a PC will be show real time:

  • The current efficiency of each machine and each production line
  • The theoretical efficiency of each machine and each production line
  • The deviation between the actual and theoretical efficiency of each machine and each production line

The ultimate goal of TracePro is to record automatically and calculate on continuous basis (On-Line/Real Time) the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) indicator. This index is indicating how efficiently the production equipment and the human resources are exploiting. Furthermore, the points which create problems and are responsible for delays in the production process, are identified and recorded
